Melon Flower Vase

Ingredients and Utensils Needed:

1 small or medium size melon, Cantelope or Honedew
a corer for tomatoes
a sharp 6″ knife
pretty flowers with sturdy stems
shallow plate with sides

With the knife cut 1″ off stem side of the melon.
Next, remove the fruit from the bottom and take out all of the seeds.
With the corer, make about 6 to 8 holes on top going through all of the fruit inside.
Place melon in dish of water and add your favorite flowers.
Why not decorate around the bottom of the melon with extra flowers or even pretty beads or stones? Enjoy!
